Modularity Guide

The Flex-Arm system is designed to adapt perfectly to your needs:

  • Configurability: While pre-configured at 15 cm, the arm is fully modular. You can shorten it by removing excess segments or lengthen it by adding more.
  • Assembly: Performed manually with firm pressure between male/female balls.
  • Segment removal: To disassemble, grip the component, rotate to the stop, and force slightly: the module will detach.
  • 60009bk Joint: Essential only for non-standard threaded ends (e.g., Threaded Base → Arm → 60009bk Joint → Threaded Base).

Tips and information

Settling: Slight initial creaking is normal; it disappears as the modules naturally settle.

Weight capacity: Load capacity depends on leverage: the more extended the arm, the greater the structural strain.

Optimizing hold: For heavy loads or rigidity, we recommend 3/4" Element Clamps. These clamps mechanically lock the joint, increasing structural stiffness and reducing flexing.
