- Working distance: Having a high magnification, the distance to focus is very short (6 - 8.5 cm). Approach the subject calmly and precisely until you see it sharp on the monitor.
- Stability and Breathing: At these macro levels, every tiny movement is amplified. Try to stabilize yourself on the seabed (without damaging the environment) and shoot during a calm moment to avoid motion blur.
- Light management: The depth of field with a +13 is very narrow. Close your camera's aperture (high f-numbers) to get more elements in focus, and compensate for the loss of light by bringing your strobes or video lights closer.
